Sammy Kannis

With over 20 years experience as a successful performer, writer and producer, Sammy K is one of the most exciting names in Australian Pop Music. Sammy has worked with clients from all over the world and helped develop them into successful recording artists. His lineage can be traced back to Radio Birdman and the Punk revolution in Australia with his oldest brother Johnny being the front man for “The Hitmen”.

Sammy started in the industry as a singer songwriter during the late eighties, and emerged as one of the country’s leading independent Soul singers with the media dubbing him Australia’s Soul Master General as he travelled between Australia and the USA.

During this period he had the opportunity to sit on many recording sessions with the likes of Charles Fisher and Mark Opitz in Australia and blessed to witness the magic of people such as the legendary Quincy Jones and Phil Spector .

His live career however was cut short by a serious traffic accident in December 1991 that left him hospitalised for 3 months and unable to walk for another 18 months, but was the catalyst for him discovering that his true passion was writing and producing.

Sammy K was the founder Milk Bar Recording Studios an independently owned world class recording facility in Sydney Australia targeting young Australian Artists, Record labels and film production companies who didn’t have big enough budgets to hire other facilities available of this calibre; a venture driven not by money, but by his shear passion for his art.

He has written and produced songs for Eurovision hopefuls along with many TV commercials, independent films and recording artists in many different languages.

Sammy K is currently A&R Director of Alchemy Music Group, with offices in Australia, England, USA and Canada. As a Producer/ Writer with a background as a performer, he totally understands how to bring out the best in all the artists he has the pleasure to work with.

Matt Fell

A true multi-instrumentalist, his passion has earned him the ´Golden Guitar´for Best Album. He is comfortable playing every instrument on a session as he is simply producing a band. Through his ´Love Hz Studios´, Matt has produced the likes of Tim Freeman, Sara Stoder, Ian Moss, Slim Dusty, Wes Carr, Paul Greene, Anthony Snape and Felicity.
My goal is to take the sound inside an artists head and with all the tools we have here at our disposal, turn it into something they’d never imagined.
